‘Informing Pakistan At Start Of Attack Was A Crime’: Rahul Gandhi Trains Guns At EAM Jaishankar, Modi Govt

Rahul Gandhi accused the Modi government of committing a “crime” by allegedly informing Pakistan about Operation Sindoor. This came after PIB Fact Check Unit clarified that Jaishankar made no such statement.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday launched a sharp attack on the Modi government, alleging that India committed a “crime” by informing Pakistan before launching an airstrike. He based his criticism on a claim that External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar had admitted to such communication prior to India’s military action.

In a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Rahul Gandhi wrote, “Informing Pakistan at the start of our attack was a crime. EAM has publicly admitted that GOI did it. 1. Who authorised it? 2. How many aircraft did our airforce lose as a result?”

The remarks came after the government had refuted the allegations. The Fact Check Unit of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) clarified that no such admission was made by the External Affairs Minister and described the circulating claims as misleading.
